Personally, I thought this Texas team was better than the Nebraska team we played last year in Lincoln, not that it makes much difference.

I agree. The problem is we ARE at the level where we shouldn't meet them until the Sweet 16. The NCAA has a big case of FAIL going on.

There may only be 3 or 4 other teams, if that, that are at the TU level.

We are a long way from being at that level. But that doesn't diminish in my mind the great season these ladies gave us.

We may have a long time to wait for another undefeated regular season.

Thank you Ladies for a great season, and I'm already looking forward to the start of next year's VB season.

If our basketball team's were consistently competing and performing at the level of our VB team has over the past five years we would not be able to stand outselves we would be so full of it.

Only one big, very big, hole to fill next year to replace Kelly Broussard.
Everyone else will be a year older, smarter and stronger.

Despite being dominated by the Longhorns tonight this was a good experience for all those returning players.

Arrow is still definitely pointing up for Shocker Volleyball.

I think it is too early to know. The better we get, the tougher it can be to schedule the teams that will help your team improve.

For example, several years ago, Washington came to our tournament - but only under the condition that they play one match per day. So we started the tournament on Thursday night by playing them. It was a real coup to get them to come at all.

And K-State came to our tournament last year. So, from time to time, we can schedule teams with better reps.

We shall see.
