I think Emily Stockman, Kelly Broussard. Big Mac (Sarah McGee) and Mary Elizabeth Hooper will be 1st Team All-Conference selections.
Lindsey Eckenrode will be a second team selection.
Mary Elizabeth will, of course, also lead the All-Freshman team selections.

MVC All-Conference & Specialty Awards Announced:
Congratulations to Emily, Sarah, Kelly and Mary Elizabeth on their selection as 1st Team All-Conference Members. Well deserved and hard-earned.
No 2nd Teamers for the Shocks. Sorry Lindsey I thought you might capture that but I suppose their is an unspoken limit of 4 selections overall, not to take anything away from the other recipients.
Special kudos to Emily Stockman, the 2008 MVC Player of the Year, Kelly Broussard, the 2008 Libero of the Year (about time) and Mary Elizbeth Hooper as the 2008 Freshman of the Year.
CU's Jessica Houts was named 2008 defensive player of the year. Personally I would have voted for Kelly, but considering no one really knows how to evaluate this award it is sort of like the runner-up to the POY award.
Slam dunk of the year is the naming of Chris Lamb as 2008 MVC Coach of the Year. Congratulations to Lambo. Yet to come -- 2008 National Coach of the Year????????????? We'll see.Comment
