After the Shocks close within one, the Aggies stretch their lead to 18-14, and Lambo takes his second TO.

The Shockers come storming back to take a 20-19 lead with the Aggies burning two TOs in the interim.

Shockers take the second set 25-23 with a kill by Katie for the last point and two blocks by Katie-Abbie for the previous two Shocker points. The Aggies made it interesting after trailing 24-21.

At 13-11, the Aggies take a TO. Then they run off five points in a row to take a 16-13 lead and the Shockers have to take a TO.

After New Mexico State adds another point, the Shockers come back to make the Aggie lead 19-18 and force their TO.

The Aggies right the ship, score two points and the Shocks take a TO at 21-18.

The Aggies take the third set 25-21, and the Shockers lead two sets to one.

Mikaela is starting the fourth set after seeing limited action earlier in the match.

The Shockers slowly build a 12-7 lead in the fourth set, and the Aggies take a TO. Neither is hitting well to this point.

A Shocker lead of 14-8 becomes 14-12 and Lambo takes a TO.

The lead becomes 17-16, whittling down a lead of four, and Lambo takes his second TO.

The Shockers regain control, running out to a 21-17 lead, and New Mexico State take their last TO.

With the Shocks leading 24-20, the Aggies take a 25-24 lead before Jody ties the game at 25.

Another Jody kill ties the game at 26, and MaryAshton scores for a 27-26 lead. The Aggies get the mini-break back, but Jody ties it again at 28.

New Mexico State has the momentum heading into the 5th set after their big comeback to win Set 4 after being down 20-24.

Well, we really gave away that one. Hopefully this is a learning experience and not a sign of a lack of tools to finish matches if teams figure out how to take Abbie away.

It was probably just unbridled enthusiasm on my part but I just didn't think we'd have as much problem scoring this season.

I don't want to make it sound like things are dire....New Mexico State is experienced and flat out good. They had every chance to beat top 20 Arizona last week.

But we need to win some of these matches. Huge match today. Go Shocks!
