    Illinois State 3-0 Shockers
    15, 25, 21

The Redbirds pull away late to finish the Valley season undefeated.

    .239 v .145 for the match.

Katie hit .500 for the only notable number.

Lambo was disappointed in the lack of focus, not sticking to the things practiced earlier in the week. This is part of being a young team, certainly as compared to ISU who has six seniors, but frustrating nonetheless.

Congrats to Illinois State on an undefeated Valley season. I think they probably have secured a spot in the NCAA Tournament.

I'm not sure that kind of language can be tolerated (or understood).

WSU only outscored Loyola by 7 points when they played in Chicago.
UNI outscored Loyola by 18 points when they played in Chicago.

Sets, not matches. But let us know how the Pablo moves - I assume you know someone who has access to those numbers. I could be totally wrong about how close the Panther road matches this weekend were likely to be. (And it is about this time of year that I recall that I intended to subscribe this year. :( )

yeah, it might hurt their Pablo rating some, but I haven't even been following it that closely, as no one in the conference outside of Illinois State has any shot at all at an at-large bid this season. I'll let you know once the Pablo rankings are updated, though (usually on Mondays, I think)

Illinois State now has an RPI ranking of 37. I suppose a loss in the semis of the conference tournament might put them in danger, depending on others who would be contending for at-large bid, but it seems they could surely survive a loss in the finals.

I think Illinois State would get an at-large regardless, unless something really funky happens with the bubble. worst case scenario for ISU would be losing to SIU in the semis, and that would probably only drop them to 40 or so. Still on the "in" side of the bubble, I'd think.

Anyhow, since you asked about Pablo earlier, here are the current (as of the afternoon of 11/24/14) Pablo rankings for the top 6 MVC teams (and I'll include RPI as well, just for comparison)
                      ILS: Pablo 26, RPI 37
                      UNI: Pablo 70, RPI 89
                      WSU: Pablo 74, RPI 72
                      MSU: Pablo 75, RPI 81
                      SIU: Pablo 115, RPI 132
                      INS: Pablo 163, RPI 174
the bottom four are in the 200's for both rankings
