Indiana State goes up 2-1 with a dominating 25-15 win in Set 3. Chelsey's injury had some impact but I think the Shocks lose this set with or without Chelsey.

Shocks look to be in trouble. Shocks had 5 kills and 11 hitting errors in the 3rd set. Just a horrible performance, and no I don't put a lot of blame on Jordan Loney based on Mike's description. Still whenever you have to go to your backup setter the timing will be different.

Shocks come alive in Set 4 to pound the Sycamores 25 - 11 (and it wasn't really that close).

Emily Adney in particulary finally got it going. Shocks' blocking was very good in this set.

Hopefully, that puts some doube in the minds of the Sycamores and will carry over to Set 5.

Shocks close it out in dominating fashion 15-4. Shocks outscore the Trees 40-15 in the final 2 sets. Crazy.

My blood pressure really did not need that.

Not sure what it take for this team to show up ready to play. I guess it is just the way it is with this team.

A win, is a win, is a win. Hopefully, the Shocks can carry over the play from the last 2 sets to Normal tomorrow night.

Lambo said that you just can't have that. You need to show up ready to play. He said he takes some responsibility but he just can't figure out what to do about it.

Game ball to Ashlyn Driskill. About the only one who showed up from the beginning.

Lambo said it is just really hard to sub in VB and keep things going smoothly. Sam out tonight. Ashley not feeling well. Chelsey getting knocked in the head. Chelsey performed very well after returning from her blow to the head. Hope she is OK to go.

Ashlyn another stellar night. Just imagine her as a senior. Lambo however had her comfused with Adney in the blocking as Emily has 4 solos and 3 block assists while Ashlyn had none. Not a bad night for a very sick Andrade. Way to hang in there. These girls need to shake off this first game funk that they have delveloped.

Missouri State is finding their A game at a good time, especially when you host the Valley tourney.

I said I wasn't too worried about Indiana State going into the that match. You think that I would know better.

I am plenty concerned going into the Illinois State match this evening. Illinois State puts some nice athletes on the floor and are capable of beating anyone in this league.

While I assume the Shocks spent more time preparing for ILS than they did for INS they certainly did not anticipate going into the match without Sam Sanders. Hopefully, Chelsey won't have any delayed effects from the blow to the head she sustained in last night's match with INS.

Maybe the close, tough 5-set loss to MSU last night will take a little bit out of the Redbirds. More importanly, though, I hope the Shocker team from last night's 4th and 5th sets show up from the get go tonight.

This may or may not had much to do with the Shocks not being up for the Sycamores last night but the atmosphere at INS arena must have been non-existent. According to the Indiana State box score the attendance was 90. That's getting pretty high-schoolish.

Unfortunate that Sam is out again tonight with that bad shoulder. Sure hope this is something short term, very short term.

Doesn't sound good. Can't raise her arm above shoulder level.
