Interesting how there are some teams you just have success against. Somehow OU generally brings out the best in the Shocks. We've done well against Colorado State, although over a shorter period of time. The Shockers bugaboo seems to be UNI, although we have played them tough for the most part (not counting this year's initial match). Maybe it's just a matter of styles and how those styles match-up.

The Shocks certainly found the right formula last night and executed it to a T.

In the post-game after the UNI match, Lambo noted that 1) Sam's ankle tweak from the night-before Bradley match severely limited her ability to get off the floor and thus contribute to the offense, and 2) he was not happy with the choices Chelsey was making running the offense. From the article in the paper, it appears that those two issues were non-existent last night.

Sam normally isn't the best leaper on the team, but man she was flying last night. She's played well against OU every match. Specifically I remember an outstanding performance her Fr. season in the NCAA tournament. Even in that loss she was impressive.

They looked great last night. Hard to believe it was the same team that folded against UNI.

Nice win ladies. And yes, much respect to the OU volleyball program with the scheduling, unlike the pu****s up north.
