That would be great. It looked like there were several different lineups in the clips from their trip. Wonder if he has a good feeling about who is likely to be the starting 6 (or 7) and how solid that lineup is. Any big surprises from the new comers? Was the level of competition up to what he wanted? Who got the worse sunburn?

What happened to Gabi Maas? An oversight, did she transfer, or is her injury that bad?

Hope it's just an oversight. If so, maybe an edit, if possible, is needed.
Who knows. Gabi is still listed on the updated 2024 roster that includes all of this fall's newcomers.

The Volleyball transfer portal window was in December plus there was an additional window from May 1 to May 15. So it does not appear she has transferred.

So it would seem to be just an oversight OR her injury is serious enough that she will miss this upcoming fall season. A torn ACL would do the trick for example.

I was also curious why she did not seem to be on the Brazil trip even with the injury. A serious injury that involves surgery and a tough rehab would explain that as well.

Unfortunately, with privacy laws being what they are there is not very much transparency about these things so fans are left to wonder and speculate.

" All-Conference selections Morgan Stout and Izzi Strand return to the roster in 2024, in addition to outside hitters Emerson Wilford and Brooklyn Leggett and a group of veteran defensive specialists led by Annalie Heliste, Katie Galligan and Reagan Anderson."

Glad we play Rice twice, they usually have a good RPI. We also play Memphis, Tulsa, and UAB twice. Tulsa might have a nice RPI. I wasn't impressed with UAB's non-con. Have not seen Memphis's schedule. Hope they, and the rest of the teams in the AAC, schedule tough.

I think I get how they worked the byes. The two odd teams on each Friday/Sunday gamedays play on the Wednesday of that week and get either the Friday/Sunday gameday bye. The Shockers only have one bye and it is early in the season. Don't know if that will matter too much. The do get that Sunday off. UAB plays on two Wednesdays and have two byes(?). I double checked Tulsa's schedule and they do not play a Wednesday game. So maybe I am wrong about the bye, maybe Tulsa's schedule is wrong.

Speaking of Sundays off, I bet coach doesn't care much for playing Sunday games because it could be a day off for the players. But that was back when we played the same team twice a weekend, now there is a travel day between games and Sundays off for the players might not be an option. Wonder what his thoughts on the schedule are.

The roster has been updated. All the players, except Ava Anderson, have chosen a jersey number.

Interesting lineup in the last clip. Gracie Morrow, Sarah Barham and Alyssa Gonzalez on the front row with Emerson and Izzi in the back row along with Grace Hett (I think) at the libero.

I hope and I suspect there has been a lot of mixing, matching and let's see what we got going on. A really good year to have this Brazil trip plus the extra 10 days of practice.
