Nelson walked to load the bases for Syd.

Addie hits it hard but right at the SS who steps on 2nd to end the inning.

She wasn't acting. Lefty pitcher took a hard shot of her left wrist. I think Memphis may be down to 2 pitchers.

Sorry, didnt see the play live. Just saw the play by play and saw they brought her back in and felt bad for her. Makes sense why if they only have 2 (now 1) pitchers.

The Memphis guy doing the announcing on ESPN+ still hasn't figured out the play at the plate where Sami was called safe was because obstruction was called on the Memphis catcher. Which was clearly signaled by the home plate ump. Why Sami was going home from 3rd on a walk with 2nd base open is a mystery. No doubt a freshman brain cramp. But she ended being credited with a steal of home.

LuLu walked on I believe four pitches. Mills lines out to RF. Lucas stays on first. Sami with a two run bomb to CF! Taylor lines out to LF for the 2nd out. Cam with a deep shot to left center for a solo bomb!

Lainee lines a single to RF. Nelson lines a single to LF. Runners at 1st and 2nd for Syd. Syd gets an IF single. Diving stop by the SS saved a run. Bases loaded for Addie. Addie pops up to very shallow CF to the SS.

I was just pointing out that she did touch the plate. I know how interference works. I've watched three niece's go through years of competitive softball. One turned down college opportunities to focus on academics.
