Agreed, and we at least take a set from Ku if not better.

Well one thing about Sophie's play this weekend is that would be different from Brylee is that Brylee would have been highlighted on the opponents scouting reports. While in Sophie's case it woud be Sophie who. But Sophie's confidence certainly received a booster shot today I would think.

Maybe. Very difficult to evaluate that without seeing all the matches. Was today a coming out party for Sophie Childs? Big Mac had a very nice tournament.

Good point! I think I have seen that now that you mention it. Olympics, maybe?

No Shocker service errors in Set 5. Shocks win 15-11. Ironically, match point came on a Delaware service error.

    Set Five

    Here we go!

At 3-3, all of the Blue Hen points are attack errors.

4-0 Shocker run to the media TO. 8-5. (Do they actually have that in the fifth set, or are they merely switching ends? I think the latter.)

A kill by Sophia and a block. 10-5 and a Delaware TO.

Can't stand the prosperity. Two attack errors by Sophia bring the score to 10-8 and a Shocker TO.

And another (a block of Sophia) immediately after the TO.

At 12-10, a bunch of subs includes Skylar rotate in. The same has happened earlier in the match - for blocking?

A kill by Sophia moves the score to 13-10. TO Blue Hens.

    Attack error. 14-10.

    A service error. 15-11 and 3-2.

    Fore the match, .288 v .188. Kailin 18-5-53 for .245, Sophie 15-4-30 for .367, Lauren 14-2-26 for .462, Sophia 13-5-30 for .267.

    Eleven blocks v seven. Error/Ace 15/3 v 12/9.

When your outhitting a team .316 to .211 through 4 sets and are heading into the 5th set with the momentum on the other side of the net, you have some real issues.

9 point deficit in the serve/receive game now. Maybe it's a good thing no video is available. A hate service errors like Biff Tannen hates manure.

    Make that -10.

Somebody at KU doesn't know what they are doing (the logo issue was there when Ku played Loyola Marymount and Purdue a couple weeks ago as well) although that's not really groundbreaking information.

Looks like the team comparisons for the match are reversed. The Shocks outhitting Delaware .323 to .172 early in the 4th set. You would think the Shocks would be cruising. Shocks with a 7 point deficit in the service game.
