He is one tough hombre. An avid outdoors-man, Hank Williams Jr"A Country Boy Can Survive" comes to mind when watching Jake play. His game reminds me of Ben Hansbrough in his younger days, although Jake has a ways to go to reach the level of player Hansbrough is now.

Jake scored 18 last night and the Hornets advanced to the State 4a semis tonight where they are matched with powerhouse Douglass.

Watched Jake put down 19 on the #2 team in the state of Oklahoma. At 6'5" and still growing he has very good ball handling skills, can take it to the hole or shoot the 3. Very unselfish player with the same hustle as Graham Hatch and hates to lose. Can't let the Bears get him especially when I saw their commited recruit Dorrian Williams lite it up in the same game. Kid can flat out shoot.

Free Rival's article that evaluates Jake in KC. It also mentions Shocker recruits Broderick Newbill and Benny Parker, along with probably recruit Shavon Shields.

These rankings for the State of Oklahoma were done sometime ago, but note that Jake is ranked #2 for the class of 2012.

Maybe it's that in the picture posted by shizzle on the previous page, he looks like he's about 25 years old. A man among boys, as the saying goes.

I'm expecting his recruitment to stay at this level.

                          More, please?

Is it his size vs position (as a 4) or quickness vs position (as a 3)?

Quicker, more athletic players cause him problems.
