Good to hear but not surprised if we are trying to go after Chambers. He is four star by Rivals and ESPN and a Scout top150. I think Chambers was good enough to actually play up a year with Howard Pulley and played on the 17U team last summer. Joe Coleman, who we had early interest in was on that team. He will be at Minnesota next year. Chambers has been known for years in Minnesota as an outstanding pg and team leader. As of now Minnesota hasn't shown much interest in Chambers but that was also the case last year with Coleman.

The coaching staff is thrilled to get Jake and I'm sure Coach Jans hopes he is a foot in the door in Minnesota.
Same HS and AAU team as Calvin Walls (recruited by MT). Walls played sparingly one year and red-shirted one before transferring. He went on to have success at another mid-major school. Posted something like 11 points and 8 rebounds as a senior. Had a similar build and skill set to Jerome Hamilton. See Adam Liberty for comparable player that transferred out of MTs system to go on to a successful career.

Marshall hasn't yet brought in a top 150 player. K.J. was at one time in the top 100, but couldn't stay there.

Turgeon's only recruited top 150 player was Sean Ogirri. Howard came in at about 225. Wilson and Thomasson were top 100 transfers.

Of the players here, Kyles, Murry, and Stutts were rated pretty close to each other,

I guess according to this article, Eric thinks a LOT MORE of Conner Frankamp than some others.

            Wow

No surprise there, Cal -- we have lots of amateur experts on here. Swish was especially thoughtful with his insight. But really, what does a guy like Bossi know anyway?

I qualify as an amateur , but probably not up to expert level.........

For my money Conner Frankamp was the most exciting player on the court last night .... ( Heights--North )

                    +1

The kid's got a great basketball IQ, surprising strength (he posted low several times and was never bothered by Heights' guards) and a pure stroke. In warmups he worked around the perimeter and hit about 15 straight, all but two of them from three-point land. Then he carried that right over into the game. He sure looked like a DI player last night.

Also ... keep an eye out for North's 6-5 freshman center. He didn't play much, but he moves very well, has good hands, and in warmups was confident with the jumper out to about 18 feet. I like his frame for additional weight. That guy could be a prospect in a couple of seasons if he grows a couple of inches.
“The rebellion on the populist right against the results of the 2020 election was partly a cynical, knowing effort by political operators and their hype men in the media to steal an election or at least get rich trying. But it was also the tragic consequence of the informational malnourishment so badly afflicting the nation. ... Americans gorge themselves daily on empty informational calories, indulging their sugar fixes of self-affirming half-truths and even outright lies.'

Ellis, Thurman, and Nicholson to WSU. I'll let coack decide who gets the fourth and fifth scholarships.

Soooo...is it official yet? Have these three signed? I'm getting a little impatient! A win tonight and success through this season could help to sway these kids towards their hometown team! Let's hope!

I'm sure the staff is all over them. None of them can officially sign an LOI until Nov 2011. Enjoy the ride.

Turman, now listed at 6-8, scored 18.

                                Nicholson had 23.

I really want these two to complement Perry Ellis as the core of our 2012 recruiting class.
