Probably, but coach giving them a rock-solid guarantee that he would be here 4 more years could quell that, but I doubt that is a commitment that he is willing/able to make.Comment

Im sure the recruits have heard it. I'm not sure it is correct.
Coach passed on BCS jobs to stay at Winthrop. Players continued to go there.
IF Coach leaves, it will be for an upper tier BCS job that no one here will be able to complain about him taking.
IF we as fans step up, spread the word and do the things Coach needs US to do to help him be more successful, then that increases expotentially the amount of time he will spend in Wichita.Comment

What all that talk really confirms is the everybody expects the Shockers to be REALLY good. Marshall stayed Wintrop a long time. Unless he has a just can't pass up offer to an elite school, I expect him to stay where he is at.
With the right recruit or two next year, the Shockers could be even better in 2011-12. A couple of those recruits have been in to see us recently.In the fast laneComment
