Noel's AAU team this year will be the Atlanta Celtics. They should be one of the best. He will be playing with his friend Derrick Favors and another 5 star, Howard Thompkins.

Wow, a thread started on November 2, 2005 still at the top of the message board. That must be a record.

Tell Noel that he can bring as many 5 star friends with him as he needs to not get homesick.

I'm sure we would be happy with the lastest 3 star addition to the Celtics as well, 6-11 Ralph Sampson III.

Averaged 22.2 points, 3.7 assits this year. Was the all-area player of the year. His dedication to being a great basketball player is not surprising considering who are his father and godfather.

Is it OK to dream a little? SIU's performance last night sure can't hurt our chances. Until the day he crosses us off his list, I'll keep the faith.

He surely has at least a couple of people telling him about how good it could be at WSU.

Maybe a package deal for him and a 4-5 star or 2 to bring with him could make an impact? Not all programs could or would be willing to do that. Makes me remember the package of A. Carr and Cliff.

Later we almost signed the twins---Terry and Perry Dozier but instead we signed the other twins-- Dwight and Duane Praylow. Both packages beat KU when given the rare opportunity. The Battle of New Orleans with A. Carr and Cliff and then the Praylows when Larry Brown and Fogler were the respective Coaches and we beat Danny Manning and Company here in Wichita and held Danny to 12 points.

Who remembers for sure if Turg played for them the year we beat them here in Wichita?

That KU game in Wichita was one of the funnest to watch ever. It may have been the very next year that KU beat Billy Tubbs and Oklahoma at their own fast pace game for a National Championship. That KU win may have been Eddie Foglers biggest win here at WSU, or at least close to it.
