Elmore and Bruton were from the '76 team and before I believe. When did Cheese play? '77 to '80?

Also when did Jay Jackson play? It was somewhere during that time.

There was a guy named Steve Kolozinski, big guy who used to get in fights alot and he and the other player would always get ejected. I seem to remember him shoving back and forth with Larry Bird dont remember if they got ejected or not. :D

I take this to mean that Cheese would never allow his son to play for a KU guy or the Noel is just more impressed with the current coach and/or playing style.

To address, the previous staff had little or no interest in pursuing the mentioned recruit. The formers felt there was minimal chance of landing said recruit and therefore felt their efforts would be better served in other areas.
The new regime has a different outlook and has initiated contact with him. The interest is apparently mutual. That is all. 8)

So what you are saying is MT didnt want to fight recruting battles he had no chance of winning. Sounds kind of pathetic to me, but that is MY OPINION. I like a coach who is not afraid of least making some contact and an attempt to talk with a kid.
