  • I just wanted to revisit the fact that we signed a solid Wichita player to join our beloved Shocks. It has been awhile for that to occur. Trace back to the Ralph Miller days. We had solid local and state wide players that were keys to our great success. Players like Kelly Pete, Jamie Thompson, and Dave Leach were among several who really helped us win our fair share of games. Through the years, several others such as Carr, Sherrod, Papke, Mendell, etc. also played a huge role for us. It is a breath of fresh air to sign Evan. After watching him play several times, it is clear that he will be an asset for us. Let's hope this becomes a trend in the near future.
Shocker basketball will forever be my favorite team in all of sports.

      • I too watched the game on TV. Crappy camera work, but Evan did look good.

I don't think you can. It was on KSCW which I think KWCH controls.

None of CBS/Channel 12's stuff is On Demand. The only local stuff On Demand is KS22.

            • Darn. I was hoping that maybe it was a 22 thing since they do show some HS events. I wish I'd had known ahead of time it was televised since I couldn't make it out.
