I just can't see how you can give the last one to a guard.

IMO, the only way the last scholarship goes to a guard is if HCGM sees some kinda wonderful in the kid. If that isn't the kid we get, and we sign another guard, I would bet that there is a guard that doesn't come back next year...hence, not the last scholarship.

There is no way a guard will not return next year

            No way? Really?

Has there been a year in the last 10 that we didn't have a least one team member leave the program, not due to graduation?

I'm not aware of the Shockers having interest in Cameron Cornelius. My guess is he's undersized for D-1.

That's the Derby kid previously alluded to?

May be undersized but what I've seen of him (Cornelius) he plays like he's 6'7". Has really long arms and great jumping ability. Led his Derby team and T-wolves in rebounding and scoring. He's also pretty fast from what I've seen. Word is TN-Martin might be looking at him.

I heard his game is a "stone gas."

I've heard of "Stone cold" but not "Stone Gas"...??? Is that a negative or positive? If negative I still think he should be looked at, maybe a diamond in the rough. MVP from Ark-Valley Chisolm Trail D-1 can't be too bad I don't think.

Only saw Derby play twice last year. Nobody jumped out at me like that.

Stone Gas=Good time in Don Cornelius speak. If you are looking to get recruited by WSU you're not likely to help your cause here. Fortunately, the coaches don't listen to us.
