There is some good talent in OK and MO. I'd like to see us venture into IL as well. But TX is still THE place for us at this time. Hopefully we can open up something in the SE though.

But if nothing else, we need to get better with the KC Metro.

Jans has been working the Illinois, Indiana area and this year and last we have some prospects from there. A lot of MVC competition that is closer to those kids homes is going to make it awfully tough to be consistently successful up North.

When we start winning consistantly and make more runs in the NCAA's, HCGM will be able to recruit anywhere. I think after last season there are a few "wait and see" top shelf recruits out there who will be willing to come here if they can win and start getting more exposure.

I have no doubt that HCGM will still continue to pursue whomever he really wants no matter who else is after them, how many stars they are, and what our record is.

He is a Mover and a Shocker !!!!!

While our name doesn't seem to be appearing very high on the lists anymore, this seems like the kind of guy that would be great for WSU. A guy who works hard, ends up being a top 150 guy, and then comes to WSU. If we get one high quality recruit, the chips will begin to fall.

Jackson is Rivals' main recruiting target and according to Scout they may be getting close to obtaining him.

Sorry about that I should of said Jackson is South Carolina's main target.

Georgia Tech offers. Georgia Tech was already known to be one of Lakeem's favorites.

The following link also has a recent article on Noel Johnson that might interest you.

Last year we played against one player who is on this year's final list of early NBA draft entrees. If you haven't kept up with the draft, I bet you are having a hard time guessing who it is. If you don't want a hint stop reading now and go to the bottom of the above link for the answer. You will find only one player on a team that the Shockers played last year. IMO he looked pretty good in that game.

The hint is this player's name is on our recruiting board.
If you need another hint, it's a few more lines down.

The Shocker's probably had their best game of the season against him.

South Carolina and Georgia Tech appear to be Jackson's final two. Jackson has been South Carolina's top target for sometime.
