Georgia Tech's coach Paul Hewitt checked out Jackson scoring 19 points in a good win over Pinewood Prep.

From Scout: Is playing with defensive intensity that fires up his team. On offense, he is a slashing, attacking wing. In the classroom he has gotten serious. Hardest after him: Western Kentucky, Georgia Tech and Clemson.

His high school coach lists Jackson's top three as South Carolina, Clemson and Georgia Tech. Jackson plans on taking official visits to all three schools. Both South Carolina and Clemson have offered. Another school that was in the mix but wasn't mentioned earlier was NC State.

I still like how coach is venturing out into the uncharted waters of recruiting from WSU's standpoint. There haven't been too many kids come from down there, and I'm not sure our previous coaching staffs even knew that part of the country existed.

Marshall knows a lot about the South and hopefully we will land some good ones. But we should expect more recruiting from Missouri, Arkansas, Oklahoma and other closer States as the years go by. In fact we already have more Oklahoma recruits this year than last.
