    Pretty impressive considering his teammate.
Royal, that was also my thought. People other than Marshall evidently think that Kenny is a very impressive player.
MANY people have stated WSU got a great player. If KJ had signed with a Georgia Tech or NC State, he would be 4 star and nationally rated (not my opinion, that of many recruiting professionals) I agree.

        From SLAMonline's NHSI recap

–I really like Pinewood senior guard Kenny Manigault. A long, athletic slashing guard with good size (about 6-4 or so), he handles the ball well, plays hard and seemingly gets to the basket at will. Seeing him get up and put one down on the break, I wonder what most people have probably asked him throughout his life: Goat’s kin? Very nice pickup for Wichita State.
“The rebellion on the populist right against the results of the 2020 election was partly a cynical, knowing effort by political operators and their hype men in the media to steal an election or at least get rich trying. But it was also the tragic consequence of the informational malnourishment so badly afflicting the nation. ... Americans gorge themselves daily on empty informational calories, indulging their sugar fixes of self-affirming half-truths and even outright lies.'

Oak Hill's point guard Lamont Jones is expected to sign with USC Trojans. For those of you who were able to watch the game, can we draw any comparisons between KJ and Jones? Jones had previously de-committed from Louisville and Virginia Tech.

Jones had a strong compact body like Sherron Collins and explosive speed. I don't remember if he could shoot, but it seemed all the OHHS kids shot pretty well. He is much more polished than KJ, but he doesn't possess that long athletic body that Manigault has..

              Jones can shoot..........

I like the comparison to Collins for Jones where as I would say Kenny to me seems to kinda be in the mold of the last two memphis point guards. Not to say he is on same level, rather same type of player I think.

Jones could shoot. I believe he had 2 or 3 from deep. That kid is a player and ready to make an impact right away.

Right now Jones is better. KJ has plenty of upside though and can help us as a Frosh.

Jones won't officially announce his decision til tomorrow, and while USC appears to be the favorite, rumor has him leaning another way.

Not exactly who that is, just that everyone is supposed to be prepared to be surprised as someone apparently told several different people different info.

While the USC rumor may be true, it may also be false!!

Considering Jones has already backed out of two commitments I wouldn't be surprised and I'm not sure I'll believe anything until he starts taking classes.

Rivals changed their mind on KJ being the best Valley recruit. They have made Andrew Brock, a Bluejay to be a 4 star.

Not to split hairs Trop, but I believe his name is Andrew Bock, and Rivals has him rated at 101 out of their top 150.

That's what happens when the BCS boys decide to recruit someone that then signs elsewhere. You know we should all try to be like Boise St. and Fresno St.

                            What? They aren't BCS? Hmmm...

                              I think everyone needs to have a look at this. . . . http://wichitastate.scout.com/a.z?s=...cfg=bb&yr=2009

It was only like two weeks ago that he was a 3* on this site and now all of a sudden he is a 1*. He looked pretty good in his performance on ESPN so it blows my mind that he drops two stars.

Rivals still has him as a 3*

Are you sure Scout had him at 3*? I'm thinking it was just Rivals.

Doesn't matter. The Scout scouts clearly haven't seen him play.
