  • Kenny Manigault, Pinewood on ESPNU

Inaugural ESPN RISE National High School Invitational tournament April 3-5.

Kenny's Pinewood team is the low seed and will play #1 Oak Hill at 1 p.m Friday April 3 -- on ESPNU, no less.

Forget March Madness. For fans of high school hoops, it doesn't get much better than the inaugural National High School Invitational, which boasts four top seeds among the top 10 teams -- including the Nos. 1 and 2 teams in the ESPN RISE FAB 50 rankings.

Americans gorge themselves daily on empty informational calories, indulging their sugar fixes of self-affirming half-truths and even outright lies.'

Manigault is chopping in tall cotton.

I am a little bit surprised we were successful in signing him.

The game will start at 1:00 PM, CST on April 2 on ESPNU.

All we need now is a high impact big man....hard to get.

I'll definitely have the DVR set for this one. Hopefully he plays well against the nations premier "prep schoo".

Hmmmm.... Reportedly there's a juco big man in Missouri with whom the Shocks are involved for the year after next who can play serious defense and is working on his offensive skills.

                          Pretty impressive considering his teammate.

Royal, that was also my thought. People other than Marshall evidently think that Kenny is a very impressive player.
