    • Brian Jackson was on that Heights team, ended up at Evansville. Whichever one signed with St Bonaventure in the fall, didn't qualify and went juco first.

        • another one left off the big kid from East I think, went to Tennessee? Late 80's? Anyone?

The kid that WSU recruited recently that went to New Mexico.

Also, the kid from Southeast (I think) that went to St. Louis in the 90's. Jamal Walker.

          • Mark Hutton from East was awesome! Seems like he landed at Auburn which was NOT a good fit in my opinion. What an athlete Korleone Young was!!! I loved Adrian Griffen's game from East who also played for the Boston Celtics which is my favorite NBA team. There was a young man from South that could jump with the best of them. Was it Lolar?
Shocker basketball will forever be my favorite team in all of sports.

            • Ricky Ross started out at KU. Javin Tindale (South) went to New Mexico. KMC had Brian Schreck (Drake), Brad Schreck (West Texas) Miles Powers (Duquense).

Walker I think was at South apart of Eck's great run.

I think it was Morris Lolar, who was at South. He initially went D-I in football, not sure where, but ended up at Friends & had a great career there. He ultimately went to the Canadian Football League and played about 5 years.

Who was Miles older brother? He didn't go D-I, but what a load to guard he was...nice player at KMC.

                      • Manny Dies and also the 6'10 white kid who went to KSU at the same time.

                        • Pace Brothers

How about the Pace brothers of West. Lester played for Oklahoma 1979 - 1982. Darryl (sp) was at West with Karl Papke and went the Juco route I believe and I don't know what happened from there. They were both defensive wizards. They were uncles to Taj Gray.

                              • Good heavens...

And, as so often happens here among among our posters with short attention spans, Perry Ellis totally disappears from his own thread.

                                Why is this so difficult?
