This guy will be swinging from the BCS nutz, like Casey Crawford, he won't be giving us a cursory look.

It was said by somebody that makes a living reporting recruiting news that last summer we tried to get him to give us an early verbal. If that's not true, we should have after he attended our elite camp last year. A year ago we did have room for him in 2010.

Alabama's coach Grant is in KC. It's rumored that Releford will give him a verbal tonight.

Miege Coach Grunhard (former Chief) said on the radio that he'd make a better DB on the football field than basketball player. He thought he'd have a much higher chance of going pro. He might have been saying that in order to make sure he plays football this fall, though.

What is his status? Is he playing HS football?

I've heard he was practicing with the team. I don't know if they've played a game yet.

In an interview, maybe a month ago, he said he was unsure if he was going to play football this year and that he would be a college basketball player. A year ago most thought he would go D-1 in football. A very good AAU appears to have changed his mind.

As I sit here and watch Bama play, I can't help but think how SCARY good this team would be if he had chosen to be a Shocker.
