Moore is pretty light, 185 lbs, for being 6'9".

Okay----I was just getting ready to start a new thread asking for opinions on the early signing period as to a wish list and what positions we need to fill. However, this very thread ties into that nicely. So tell me----how many schollies do we have---what are our needs---and what are your "Fantasy basketball recruits" that we know about so far that you hope we get? Was there not a chance we could bring in another key 7'0" from Nigeria that would be an impact for us? We will lose PJ, MB, PT from graduation.

I would take as big man Eloy Vargas (No much chance) More realistic Julian Mavunga of Brownsburg, Indiana whom we have made an offer. Point Guard Andre Young whom I believe we have shot at and and shooting guard Reggie Jackson (dont think can get) Damian Lillard whom we have made offer but dont think will get. The one I think might be able to get is David Kyles of Carrollton, Texas. We have 3 scholorships so this is my wish list.

although that would make 5 guards, in which case I would settle for
a 6'9" Power Forward in lieu of 1 of the guards.

(And that is assuming Orukpe and Frank-Eze would both be here for the 5)

In what scenario would Cyphers walk-on? My understanding is that he has multiple opportunities for a scholarship.

For me it's Young, Graham and Eze, and then Cyphers with the magical appearing fourth scholarship.

I doubt there will be anything "magical" about a 4th scholarship, trop'.


The rest of the team staying in tact for the 08-09 season seems unlikely to me.

If it were me(and it is not of course) I would be planning on signing 4.
