Say we pick up Maze and Bowman, two would have to be released, and we all probably know who that would be.
6 good guards gives us a mix and match coming off the bench. AJ will probably play the 3 spot mostly. We could go with a 3 guard lineup anytime we would want to.
Man, that, I think, would put us definately up in the 1-3 range in the conference. In fact, we could win the conference.
Checking message boards, Maze status with Maryland remains unknown. Some think he is still going there, others say definitely not, and another thinks it will not be decided until the end of the semester. For what it's worth, probably the majority I've seen think he will not be a Terp.
I saw one post that said Bowman is now being courted by not only K-State, but also West Virginia. I actually take this as good news as at one other school must think he might qualify.
The blurp about Alex Vouyoukas was interesting. Even though he did not qualify for Davidson, seems Blair Academy is pretty rigorous academically also, and expensive:

and that Blair has had at 2 pretty well known players before Alex:
I found it humerous that Coach Swanson said that Maze is a "high major player" and later he says that he is visiting St. John's.
Someone needs to tell Swanson that just because St. Johns is in the Big East, they aren't high major and they are less likely to be successful than Wichita State in the future.
According to Maze's coach, Bobby was denied admissions at Maryland. The article gave no further recruiting info except that Maze is no longer interested in Maryland.
The JucoJuction article did say the three schools mentioned by Sub are recruiting Maze. It figures that WSU didn't get a mention. But Swanson's statments in the Eagle's blog sounds like WSU may not be actively recruiting Maze at this time.
And before anyone wonders why K-State or any other Big 12 school isn’t involved, Swanson said Maze would have to sit out another year if he remained in the conference.
