Two HUGE upsets with Illinois and Virginia Tech upsetting the 5 and 6 seeds, respectively.

Man, this gimmick is dumb. I hope whoever lands him has to deal with this for four years.

Let's see: 6 SLU loses to 27 VT, 8 DePaul loses to 25 UConn, 16 Tulane loses to 17 Auburn. I believe there's a pattern here.

Also, 5 Texas loses to 28 Illinois. From what I see, Texas is currently 1 over on schollies and has 5 SGs listed on their roster. Also got commits from 2 local SFs.

Lastly, since he's from Georgia, 5 Georgia St beating out 23 UCF is not surprising.

He probably had a pretty good idea who his top 4 or 8 choices were when he made the bracket (if he hasn't already made his choice) and just made sure they weren't matched against each other. Everything else is just funnin' with folks.

Ha. You would be correct, except if the criteria for an upset would be picking a non-P5 school over a P5 school, even if the non-P5 school should be the favorite.

Really liked the smooth calm nature of his game. I guess we aren't the right choose for him. Liked his skill set with the long range shot, driving skills, & passing ability. He will be a good player for someone.

Doesn't appear that Landers has cut his bracket any further than the initial culling from 32 to 16 but he appears to have set his 5 official visits incuding one to UConn:

I'm on the road so can't give a link but it's being reported that he'll take his fifth official visit to WSU on October 20. This is the same kid who cut his bracket to 8 but didn't include the Shockers. Confusing.

That's weird that we're not on his top 8, but is taking an official visit? He must of not liked some schools or wsu staff did something to get him too visit? Hmmmmm...
