Re: Kalib Boone Max Preps shows him ranked 111 nationally and #2 in Oklahoma (I assume in the Class of 2019). Stats aren't exactly eyepopping.

Perhaps a potential bookend to complete the set with Deantoni

From OK Hoops Report 6 months ago:

    Class of 2019
Kalib Boone, 6 foot 7 Power Forward, Tulsa Memorial
The lengthy and athletic forward is still developing, but has one of the highest ceilings among Oklahoma’s sophomore class. Boone has a soft touch around the rim, that hints at him possibly becoming a dominating low post scorer. For most teams, Boone would be a featured star, but on a deep Charger squad, look for Boone to carve out productive minutes.

Most of the players that end up at the Elite camp are little more under the radar. His AAU numbers aren't eye popping, but they are slightly better than his twin brother's (Keylan - also attended Elite camp). Right now he's a mid-major level recruit.

We have a hundred offers out (exaggerated) and I understand why we have to throw it out there to see what sticks... But who, would you say, is in the top 10 of having our greatest interests regarding this class of 2018?

I'm not sure we'd know because it requires reciprocal interest to the coaches contacts.

We're getting close to half a hundred....

Alex Lomax - planning to visit
Miller Kopp - we've been on him forever
Tyler Harris - still up there
                  Serrel Smith
                  Zach Scott
Dimon Carrigan - planning to visit
Morris Udeze - has seemed interested since April
Keyontae Johnson - recent offer and friend of Erik Stevenson
                  Feron Hunt
Antun Maricevic - his only other offer is Idaho St

Can't tell for sure yet on most of the guys we've offered in the last week. The coaching staff is likely trying to see who they can and can't get in for visits in August/September.

Shocks02 thanks for another great update. Just wondering why WSU would not be recruiting Malik Hall at this point. Is he a young man that has never shown any interest in our beloved program?

For whatever reason, he has never listed WSU. Think he wants to play in a Power 5 conference and/or get out of Wichita after Sunrise.
