Coach DJ's tweet shows that Coach Brown will be in Kansas.

JR not allowed to recruit off-campus. Maybe JR gets to run any organized practices they are allowed while the Big 4 are out recruiting.

Have you seen anything to indicate that we are going after this point guard too? He plays on the same team as Shaq Carter. Ahmed is in the same class as Landry and this would tell us more about the coaching staff's hunches that Landry won't be with us in two years.

"Eastern Florida point guard Ahmed Ali averaged 15.9 points and 4.9 assists for the Titans, who finished second in the NJCAA Tournament behind Hutchinson Community College".

I do feel better about our point guard situation this week. In addition to all we've been hearing about Harris, we are involved with Lomax, and X Casteneda. If we can just sign one of these, the future looks good. And on a side note, while their are other schools involved, Iowa State is recruiting Harris, Lomax, and Casteneda too. ISU can't sign them all either. Finally, Ahmed is a possible juco AA.

I haven't seen anything on him. News is usually slower on the Juco players. I kind of doubt we take a Juco point guard unless we miss on all the high-schoolers in the fall.

Wufan, I just noticed your question on this subject relative to the Mon night practice session. The No 1 takeaway I got from watching it is that Asbjorn Midtgaard is the real deal. I've heard Marshall quoted that now that he is here, he's turned out to be better than he thought he was.

Asbjorn is pretty quick on his feet & he has soft hands. Marshall was quoted in a Paul S article around the same time that Asbjorn just has to learn the WSU system. I tend to think he is going to help the team sooner than some people thought he would. I talked to him after the practice. He seems very personable. He likes the fact that the practices are harder than the games, too.

Did not mention Wichita State relative to Miller Kopp however but that does not necessarily mean too much I wouldn't think. Or maybe it does?

You read correctly. Sometimes it's hard to know if the author is pulling a list of schools from the internet or asking the recruit directly.
