    • Serrel Smith is a player I have liked as a possible Shocker. Does he play more 1 or 2? He seems to be quite the consistent scorer and his height would an advantage at the pg position. It was music to our ears to see ES have such a big game.
Shocker basketball will forever be my favorite team in all of sports.

That is the great debate. He only dished out 25 assists in 16 games on the Nike EYBL, but he did have 4-star point guard Mike Devoe on his team. In the videos it seems like he has at least some point guard skills. From the information I know, I'd say Serrel is the recruit we're most likely to sign. He seems very interested.

The more versatile they are, the better I like them. I keep thinking of his 39 pts. recently versus Oak Hill. I would love to have Serrel as a Shocker. It seems ES plays both the 1 and 2 also and I'm not sure what slot these two will excel at at the College level. Who are the bigs that seem the most interested in us that we might also mutually like in your view?

I can tell you that Josh Roberts, Dimon Carrigan (who is having a great week) and Morris Udeze are very interested in us. A couple of wild cards could be Reggie Chaney, Flo Thamba and Amanze Ngumezi. We could offer players such as Colin Castleton and Riley Battin soon.

Probably thinking if Isaiah Chandler. Hes enrolled for classes over the summer so he can practice but will go to sunrise next year.

                          • Very crowded parking lot at Wichita Hoops this morning when I drove by their around 11:00 am.

I suspect at least one of the Shocker coaching staff was probably hanging around there:

                            https://www.greatamericanshootout.com/project/gaso-midwest-open-summer/

Also I Shocker staff member or two may have been at the Wichits Sports Forum this weekend as well:

                            http://www.maybexposure.com/july-8-10-2016/

Anybody make it out to either of these events?

Two more events next weekend at Wichita Hoops:

                            Mullens High Profile Team Tournament

                            Mullens Top 100 Juco Showcase

Come on '72, do you really think shocker coaching staff was a problem hanging out over there?

Actually yes. 3G is such a rock star that if he was hanging out there he could cause some real issues. Straight cash homey! :playful: Yeah, that's what I meant.
