  • Lamonte Bearden from Buffalo

Buffalo transfer Lamone Bearden told CBS Sports he is considering Wichita State, Oregon, Miami, Virginia Tech, VCU, and Michigan.

I don't know anything about this guy or even how well he played.

I didn't see any recruiting thread about it either.

Here are his stats...I would like the 3-pt shooting percentage a bit higher...but all in all, not too bad:

He is a big point guard with penetrating and distributing skills. Here was some information from their fan site.

He was the leading scorer on a balanced UB roster with a 13.7 ppg average.
Bearden was the highest-rated UB recruit ever when he was lured from Wisconsin to the Bulls by former coach Bobby Hurley and Oats. He was rated the No. 28 point guard in the country by ESPN in the 2014 recruiting class.

He was also a 75% foul shooter which indicates that he has mid range shooting skills. With hard work, he should be able to improve his 3 point shooting skills too.

OK, I have no clue where he fits, but I'm impressed.

He would have to sit one year then have two years of eligibility. I'm not positive all those chools are are interested in him.

I'm not arguing that point at all. I'm not saying he doesn't. I just meant as far as the schollies are concerned, I'm not sure where he fits. Looks like somebody I'd like to see in Shocker gear.

I really don't get why people still worry about scholarships, quite obvious by now that things work out.
