If we get a transfer it probably means that one our junior's to be will be leaving. That would be good in that it would help to balance our classes. A senior transfer for next year would then allow us to sign a junior college player next year to play the following year.

There's always more to the story than just the box scores and stats you see online. Plus having a different coach than the one who recruited you can change things.

Last year's senior transfer, for whom there was actually an open spot (although it was the spot that could also have gone to Isaac Humphries), was a multi-year starter, an all-conference player, and a big scorer and rebounder at his previous school. This guy plays in a P5 conference vs. the Horizon, but he's a bench player who would be no more than that at WSU. I can't imagine why anyone would even be thinking about him.

Otherwise, they just don't look that compelling from my admittedly somewhat uninformed perspective.

Never the less, there is no doubt in my mind that McDuffy will play a role at the 4 for some minutes this year. He has skills (driving to the rim from the perimeter) that even Hamilton does not have. His role may only be for 5-10 minutes a game but he will play some 4.
