Austin has advanced to the finals! They play Charleston at 2:30 on Saturday! Charleston has a high scoring Junior guard. Brandon Fenner is a 6'4 dead eye shooter in the 2017 class. He averaged 26ppg during the season and 31ppg in the state tournament. Austin averaged 32ppg throughout the season and 43ppg in the tournament. It's going to be fun!
The game will be at Summit Arena in the convention Center in Hot Springs. Arkansas Basketball is loaded this year and all of the best players/teams for the most part have made it to the finals. Would love to have any of you come down and enjoy the weekend of great High School basketball in a great city!
Fun fact: the team that Austin dropped 73 on hasn't lost since. They are 25-3 and made it to the 5A finals. They have one of the most exciting players in the state and they play Maumelle who has another one of the best players in Arkansas. That game is after Austins and should be wild. Malik Monk (Kentucky commit) plays the late game Friday night. Little Rock Parkview (UALR, Memphis commits, top 25 2018 player, and a 6'6 freak) plays Saturday morning at 11am.
That's just some of the highlights of what will be a phenomenal weekend of Hoops! I'll be there Thursday - Saturday

I'm liking the kid too. Give Kerry a little time to put some meat on them bones, look out! My only worries, Arkansas offers late or he won't be eligible academically. When I hear he has signed the dotted line and stepped foot on campus, then I'll relax the sphincter.

He's eligible.
Doesn't want to go to Arkansas
Arkansas isn't going to offer.
There was a rumor going around that Kansas came and saw him and offered. It's not true. But I asked him about it anyway just to mess with him. I asked if Kansas would make him second guess his commitment. He said "absolutely not"
He's a Shocker.

ARShocker, how does Austin fare against bigger athletes at the AAU level? A lot of his shots had fairly low trajectories, admittedly due to him shooting over shorter players.
Like others, I can't wait to see this young man in the yellow and black!
