The kid has skills and height, let's get him a few years with Rosenbloom to add like 30 pounds of muscle.

    • Yea, I don't tweet at players at all. But it's rampant in college football recruiting - fans actively make photo edits and send them to the players. Who knows. Probably not worth it in the off-chance they started enforcing it. If we start getting players based on how much we tweet at them, then they probably aren't the type of players that would do well under Marshall.

      • He is the tallest kid on his team.

Well.. We should have a 6'10 kid returning, I'd be ok with a 6 inch growth spurt to put Austin at 6'11 lol

Correct, but he appears to have solid ball handling skills. At 6'5, playing against shorter players, bad ball handling would be more apparent.

              • I have a feeling Marshall will make him a SG. But having handles like his, at his height, at that position, will be a very nice luxury once he adjusts to the D1 athleticism he'll face.

                  • He could be a total bust for all we know... But they allow 13 ships and potential is why you give them out

                    • Well. That escalated quickly.

Listen mister, can't you see I got to get back
                        To my scoring once-a more
                        Anyway, yeah!

                        • Welcome aboard to Austin, I hope. He looks very promising, and (setting aside Pete Maravich for a moment) if he becomes the player Jake Odum was for Indiana State, with the added advantages of Marshall and Co. to coach him up and the talent at WSU around him, he could be a very noteworthy addition indeed. (By the way, for those concerned about Reaves's frame, didn't Odum actually redshirt his first year with the Trees?)

As usual, the roster numbers are starting to get interesting. Also, if Reaves does still have work to do on the academic side, whether test scores or whatever, I wonder how his commitment will affect WSU's recruiting efforts with others such as Marcus Ottey. The numbers could get even more interesting if anyone else commits.
