#rivals150 forward Jeriah Horne visits K-State this weekend. Following weekend he will now visit DePaul instead of Iowa State.

Iowa State got a verbal from Solomon Young, like Horne, a 3 star 6-6 pf.

Kansas City’s Jeriah Horne includes WSU on his list of five schools, but he isn’t sure if he will visit, according to The Barstow (Mo.) School coach Billy Thomas.

Horne, a 6-6 power forward, is also looking at Kansas State, which he was scheduled to visit this weekend, DePaul, Pepperdine and Nebraska, according to Rivals.com. Rivals.com ranks him No. 130 nationally.

“He's been a really, really good example of working hard and becoming a better basketball player,” Thomas said. “He can shoot it, he can pass it, he can handle it. He’s able to shoot three-pointers. He’s able to catch and shoot and his post game is getting better and better.”

Horne averaged 18.9 points for Barstow as a junior, helping it win the Missouri Class 3 title with a 29-2 record.

Nebraska visit is next and he says he will decide after that visit. Keep in mind he took an unofficial to WSU earlier, but....

Obviously one of the problems with recruits may be the other schools convincing them that there is a real question mark about Marshall sticking around after Ron and Fred leave.

This is not a new tactic. Marshall negates those arguments.

Anybody else feel like this one may not be that big of a loss?

Good player, fits better with Nebraska style. Instant playing time appears highly probable. Realize a lot of these offers were made before we got Peyton Allen.
