  • Think of it as a puzzle. We just found a perfect fit to complete it. Now we need a beautiful frame to display it and make it pop.

Whenever I see WuDrWu expressing further optimism, I start to gain confidence.

Very nice. This isn't exactly apples to apples since it's only Grady's Jr. year compared to the others Sr and him playing for a different team in a different league. It looks like he is slightly less effective of a scorer than either Carter or Hall, but he makes up for it by blowing them both out of the water in assists and steals. He actually is pretty close to Hall in blocks too. And the fact that he made an all defensive team makes me feel he could be a decent step up on the defensive side over Carter.

Great get!! Will definitely make us better next year.

Definitely not apples to apples, but it's what we've got and it's in one place. I found it interesting to look at.

                  Well said
"He called me around noon and was thrilled," Brandt said. "He said he was going to be a Shocker forever." -- RIP Guy, you WILL indeed be a Shocker forever!

I'm trying to decode your secret insider message .. I think my decoder is broken because I'm seeing that we just landed Shaquille O'neil and they are building us a new 20,000 seat arena ...

I agree. Very excited about adding him after looking at the numbers. Who knows, maybe not having to be leaned on so much for offense will raise his efficiency to the other guys level

                      • Sigh .... When will they learn (bolded part)? We are paying our coach 65% more than Florida is paying theirs ...

Grady, a 6-foot-8 forward who averaged 14.3 points and 7.9 rebounds for the Vikings last season, told ESPN.com that he chose the Shockers over several high-major programs.

He will have better Guards to get him the ball, better back-ups to give him breaks (he averaged 30+ minutes, especially towards the end of the year), and will have better competition for his spot. The last 2 also now apply to our younger, more inexperienced big men.
