Thank you... Dude does look like a plug and play... One year Malcolm type year but with more expectations...who wants to play with the best back court and have a guaranteed shot to make a run... Those things aren't promised in non power 5 conferences...

Did he play in our building while at Cleveland State?

The international exhibition tour will be HUGE for Anton if he comes here. Extra weeks of practice plus around 5 extra games against most likely professionals. Absolutely great opportunity for 1 year transfer to have a big impact and ready to go come game 1 of our real schedule.

I wonder if he would be allowed to play?

Hopefully Cleveland State will see this as squaring up with us for sending them Carter Arnett.

Although, there might be some boot for us to give if this works the way we want.

                Jeff ******* tweet from yesterday:

Wichita State hosted Cleveland State transfer Anton Grady on visit today, source told ESPN. Could be significant addition for next year.

Here's a recent highlight video of Grady:

Would be the best addition of the possibilities left in my opinion.

                    Not sure about Grady:

As for the 6-8, 225-pound Grady out of Cleveland Central Catholic High, his departure is a head-scratcher considering he has struggled with knee issues throughout his career, to the point he is almost exclusively an undersized post player.

And against almost every team with a quality post presence, even at the mid-major level last season, Grady often became limited offensively and foul prone.

Against the likes of Louisville, Virginia, VCU, Iona, Toledo and Bowling Green - all 20-win teams - Grady failed to score in double figures. In three of those games he scored five points or less.
Cleveland State sources say center/forward Anton Grady has decided to transfer, becoming the second player this spring to leave the program.

vs. Valpo: 19 points, 5 rebounds; 20 points 11 rebounds; and 5 points, 13 rebounds
vs. Green Bay: 24 points, 6 rebounds; 20 points 11 rebounds

It's a pretty obvious hack job with more than a dash of sour grapes. The writer cherry-picked the poor games against good teams, while omitting his better games.

In short, he is an idiot.

Could be. Do you know if the part about knee issues is accurate?

Could be? Those 5 games are literally the only 20 win opponents he didn't include in his list, which used that threshold for its criteria.

The knees have been discussed quite a bit in the Available Bigs thread. He played in all 34 games, averaging 29.7 mpg on those knees while putting up ~14 ppg and 8 rpg after the most recent surgery almost 2 years ago.

I like how Grady has a number of differemr moved he can score with and how he plays the inside out post game. I think he fits nicely here.
