While his dad could move to the men's side (Men's program seems to be a mess right now), even if he doesn't play for his dad, he can live at home, be around them, have them at games etc. Not sure how important that is to him, but I assume it noteworthy at least.

Here's the thread that was started on Porter last July.

"Hank Iba decided he wouldn't play my team anymore. He told me that if he tried to get his team ready to play me, it would upset his team the rest of the season." Gene Johnson, WU Basketball coach, 1928-1933.

4.2 turnovers a game? A major talent for sure but that sounds a little high even for AAU.

As a small forward, nonetheless. He'll get it fixed, though. This kid is prime time.

Just a quick thought on this, Mizzou HAS to get this guy. It looks like they are not in the running for the stud St. Louis area player that is class of '16. If you're the new Misery coach that people are already questioning, you can't lose out on a second stud, this one literally in your own backyard. And that's not like Bradley losing a big time Peoria player, this is a BCS school that used to be a fixture in the polls and the tournament so if they don't get Porter it means the clock is running out on Kim Anderson. Tick tock. Tick tock.

He's actually class of '17, not that it makes a big difference. Your point is still valid.

Yeah, I should have clarified that while Tatum is '16, Porter is '17. And then the Mizz side of St. Louis has another highly regarded player, Cart'Are Gordon in the class of '18.
