I for one think that the returning combo of Kelly/Morris/Wamukota/Nurger can be good enough that we don't have to have anyone else at the 4/5. I also think that they will be as good or better than anyone that we have known interest in. Hamilton and/or McDuffie have the potential to be very good very soon.

You may be right but I side with the coaches. I think they're right and we need another quality big

If you're talking about Ahmed Mohamed (since this is a thread about him), I'm pretty sure juco players can no longer go to a prep school.

This last scholarship has to be just for giggles, unless we land a Carl Hall. But it could very well end up that way. I don't think Nurger, Hamilton, will see January playing time. We will stick to our platoon Shaq/Bush/Kelly until Shaq can ball-out. Shaq is our best hope for the post. He has a great jumper, and actually has feet. Not DC feet, but feet. I don't think Bush, nor Kelly can play backtothebasket as well as SHaq, who's our closest replacement for a DC style players. Here is hoping we find a guy like Carter. BOSS, will be missed.

Rest assured, if they they don't find someone that can come in and play, they will hold it for next year or give it to Conner. If you read the threads, we're going after Russo or Hamdy-Muhamed. There may be another big we aren't aware of - Chadrack Lufile type, that comes from nowhere, but that would be surprising.

Well, I don't like to get into speculation on recruiting. I just saw this on the side panel. I didn't mean anything bad by giggles. I was more of commenting on what our post would look like, and how I feel this last recruit may not break the line-up. I guess I should've said they will probably play Tevin Glass minutes. But like I said, I don't dig into HS.JC. Prep players, so maybe the fore-mentioned guys could do more. I am always up for another Lufile. I can still remember him putting the hurt on Kentucky.

Glass was BPA. Dude was a baller but was a bad fit/couldn't transition. Don't think for one second that HCGM just gives out scholarships for the hell of it.

Excellent point. I'll add that Tevin wasn't deserving of the minutes Kelly and Bush recieved. So there is no reason to be all in for the next one, when we have RK who is still a baller with 3 more years.
