Not to be negative, but there's a reason that Coppin State and Sam Houston State are the only Division I schools so far to make offers.
Is it the same reason why nobody offered Ron Baker a scholarship?

The exact opposite of why Ron was looked over.

Have you ever seen the kid play? This is a message board, feel free to take guesses about why he's not got more Shocker interest.

I've never seen him play, but based on current coaching staff not showing much interest, I'm going to guess he doesn't play much defense, doesn't rebound very well, or doesn't appear to be a big team first kind of guy. Would any of those be close to accurate? (I really have no clue. This really is completely guesswork.)

He is a very skilled player. His size and strength do not translate to high major. But neither did Rags in high school. Prep School and or Juco will do wonders for him

WSU's lack of interest may simply be a matter of their cupboard being full of guards that they like just as well or better than Jerrick. I wish him well wherever he ends up.

Probably on the mark there, 1972 -- WSU already has Ty Taylor at about this size, and there's only so much space available unless someone wants to pay his own way.

Harding may make someone a very fine player, and I hope he does. There was even a time not that long ago when WSU might have been the logical landing spot, but maybe not so much now (depending also on what happens with Harding in prep school, juco, or both, if he takes one or both of those paths).

WSE down ten at half in the finals. Harding hit 2 treys to open the game and the skinny one of the Weathers twins completely shuts him down after that.

Harding injured his foot early in the game.

Harding received an offer from WSU recently.

                        Weber State University.

Evansville would be crazy not to jump on this kid. He'd fit perfect in their system.

Evansville runs a ball-screen motion offense and a hold and grab defense.

Other than being a shorter volume shooter, I don't see it.

Luckily, it won't be very loud because, you know, there are only like 3 Loyola fans.

But it's ok cause they are well-endowed.
