Florida State is a school to watch on Saturdays. We know that much. Life in Tallahassee on game day is as good as it gets in college sports. This weekend is a big one for the 'Noles on the basketball recruiting front, too.
Five-star wing and Florida native Dwayne Bacon of Oak Hill Academy is currently in town. He'll be joined by Alpharetta (GA) St. Francis guard Malik Beasley, too. The duo are two of the best scorers in the country and huge targets for the 'Noles."Hank Iba decided he wouldn't play my team anymore. He told me that if he tried to get his team ready to play me, it would upset his team the rest of the season." Gene Johnson, WU Basketball coach, 1928-1933.

He'll find a way to be in the NIT again. He can recruit but he can't coach."Hank Iba decided he wouldn't play my team anymore. When's Perry Ellis going to be in for his unofficial visit?
I figure that since he's reputed to be good in school he'll probably graduate this spring, and then be smart enough to want to come home and spend his senior year trying to reach the heights, so to speak, that he hoped for at KU but would have been better placed to achieve at WSU. So the Shocks need to leave room for him as a spring or summer 2015 signing.
