Roach and Shamet would be one wicked 2/3 combo.
    Or possibly a 1/2 combo.

Zach Brown is no slouch. Let's just say our back court would be set for a while.

It's starting to look like our back court is its own D-League.

I still can't believe anyone would want to play for Leonard Hamilton.

Florida State is a school to watch on Saturdays. We know that much. Life in Tallahassee on game day is as good as it gets in college sports. This weekend is a big one for the 'Noles on the basketball recruiting front, too.
Five-star wing and Florida native Dwayne Bacon of Oak Hill Academy is currently in town. He'll be joined by Alpharetta (GA) St. Francis guard Malik Beasley, too. The duo are two of the best scorers in the country and huge targets for the 'Noles.

Hamilton has had great recruits before. He'll find a way to be in the NIT again. He can recruit but he can't coach.

FSU also has lousy attendance. Their highest average in the last ten years 9,327 in 2010-11. Last season they averaged 6,285. That's a half empty arena.

                Sounds like Ted Owens.

Sully highlights the visit by Roach this weekend, and states that the visit by Pointer has been moved to Oct. 9th.

Can someone please send this article to Jenn Bates so she stops interviewing our recruits with embarrassing questions like, "So you're the highest rated guy to ever commit to little ol' WSU in the history of its mid-major program. I mean, like, that NEVER happens. They usually only sign kids no one else wants. How does that make you feel?"

Yah, except I doubt she interviews recruits very often. Let's not give her any ideas.

Tell me you are making that up. I know you are being sarcastic, but she hasn't really interviewed a recruit with even a hint of that attitude has she?

Her interview with Landry VERY loosely had that question.

When's Perry Ellis going to be in for his unofficial visit?

I figure that since he's reputed to be good in school he'll probably graduate this spring, and then be smart enough to want to come home and spend his senior year trying to reach the heights, so to speak, that he hoped for at KU but would have been better placed to achieve at WSU. So the Shocks need to leave room for him as a spring or summer 2015 signing.

I bear no particular malice towards Perry (just my average dislike of all things Jayhawk), but I would be well pleased if WSU had a more successful season than KU the 4 years he is in school.
