With the update on Humphries status at Kentucky, I thought I would check out Mulder's stats. I have no idea if he has been injured or not, but so far this season he has averaged 4.9 minutes and 0.8 points.

They are kids. They make mistakes. Everyone needs to think back to when you were that age. Did you listen to all viewpoints before deciding something big -- or did you do what you wanted to do? Bet we all could guess the answer.

That really is an odd choice. At least if you're a freshman you have the hope of possibly continuing to develop, even if it's mostly in the offseason, or to recover by dropping out, going to a juco, and starting over, wiser for the experience.

Mulder's only hope is somehow to graduate fast and transfer somewhere else for his final year, and how many former juco players can do that? Maybe he's all world academically, but again -- how many players who came from a juco are?

Were Mulder and Humphries overrated?
Is Callipari a better recruiter than a coach?

Both of these guys were "fillers" for Calipari and made to feel like they were important. Cal recruits 1 and done or 2 and done players. Those are the guys that play (7-8 deep). The rest of the roster gets front row seats to the best game in town. I bet Mulder and Humphries are a couple towel waving machines.
