If he can't, that's ok, he doesn't need to.

    • Can't wait to see the first reverse 360 McDunkfie double throw down.

      Oops, too soon?
For some the glass is half full and for others half empty. My glass is out of ice.

He's known more for his mid-air body control than monster dunks. Hamilton can dunk...and apparently so can Mr Shamet.

Shamet won the dunk contest at the MO/KAN all-star game. Don't remember where I saw the video, but was pretty impressive.

That's what I was referring too. I was surprised by that.

There might be a valid reason for this that I'm missing, but why is Brown's Future150 ranking included in the same breath as those two? I've never seen Future150 thought of as highly as the ESPN, Scout, and Rivals rankings, or even the 247 rankings.

Everyone on the roster at the time of the trip. Since Grady and the freshmen should be enrolled in school and on the roster at the time, they'll be able to play.

Since Frankamp isn't eligible until December, he won't be able to go.

What are you putting the bar of "significant contributor" at here? Would you consider Brown and Kelly to have been significant contributors last year?

Personally, I'd consider anyone in our top 7-8 rotation to be significant contributors, or maybe anyone over 10 mpg average. In which case I can certainly see McDuffie entering that territory if he impresses enough in practice. But starting, I'd be shocked.

Shamet did indeed win the dunk contest and Taylor has the 42-44" vertical. Now that combined with Markis will add some hops to our already impressive depth chart. I wonder who will win our dunk contest and 3 point contest this coming pre-season? Speaking of quality depth, this may be the very best ever here this coming Season. The teams that dance deep usually have some Senior leadership in the mix as well. It appears we will be in ship-shape with a shot at having still another fun-packed Season with great results.

                      • I personally hope we do not have a dunk contest. All we need is someone hurt or worse out for the season just because they were trying to impress. I'm all for the 3-pt contest though.

Baker vs. Frankamp in the 3-point contest could be fun.

If you don't jump over motor cycles or people, most dunks don't have to be dangerous.

Did I imagine it or did not Evan win the 3-pt contest last year (over Baker).

I think it was Ron and one of the walk-ons in the final (simon or walker), and Ron barely won.
