In the spring McDuffie was commonly listed at 6-6 and by late summer he was certified at 6-7. This fall he checked in at 6-8 to start the season at St Anthony with Coach Hurley stating he had an inch or two to go. Now his coach says he's 6-9 and still growing.

      Hamilton is 6-9, 230.

It appears we're going to be looking great in airports next year. :)

        • McDuffie said that there was one aspect to his game that was lacking.
“One of the assistant coaches told me that I needed a killer instinct,” McDuffie said. “He said that if I could add that, I would be a perfect player. I don’t know if I have it in me to be nasty and mean.”
          Hurley agrees.
“He’s very mannerly and such a nice kid that I think raising his game to have a level of nastiness might be too much to ask,” Hurley said. “We’d like him to have it, but I don’t think he can be that type of kid.”

This concerns me slightly. As Rauno is finding out. Nice guys find their butts on the bench.

The first week of practices with Fred, Ron, Evan nd Shaq will cure him or kill him.

            • “He’s going to get bigger,” Hurley said. “He still probably has two inches of growing left, which will make him a realistic 6-foot-10 or 6-foot-11. He needs to get a little more meat on his bones, but he’s still amazingly strong for a skinny kid. He has a bright future.”

FVV can most certainly show MM that having a killer instinct and being a mannerly, nice kid are not mutually exclusive. Watch Tekele tapes.....business-like, mannerly, not mouthy, but works extremely hard. Evan and Ron diving on the floor for loose balls has nothing to do with being mean and nasty. This all about being a winner on the court and in life (and having fun doing it).

                • MM is a natural College 3 and still growing? Intriguing article.

6'9" with possibility of 6'11. Going to be tall, tall, tall, with Markis, Eric, Rauno and Bush next year all 6'9" or taller. I know he is spposed to be a natural 3, but so was CLE.

                    Huge potential next year...

What airports? We fly charter and the bus picks them up next to the plane, right? :-)
You miss 100% of the shots you don't take....

.....but, statistically speaking, you miss 99% of the shots you do take.

Need some beef on those 6-9+ bodies or we are going to look like UNI.

They will get there. Rauno is 240 already.

I think Hamilton will pretty good weight also..

Bush actually has some strength. He needs a touch more weight.

Nurger has some weight, but needs a lot more strength.

Not sure what Hamton needs, but at 6-9, 230 he's got a good start. Just looks skinny.

McDuffie has a physic like Aaron Ellis as a freshman.

This. The two are not mutually exclusive. Cleanthony was by all accounts a nice young man but he killed a lot of other players hopes and dreams.

                              • Reading this article made me think of Kevin Durant. Chance to be 6'10 or 6'11, skinny, athletic, shooter. We can only hope!
