They don't have Hamilton as a Shocker. Taylor is a 3*, but way down the rankings. Shamet is not a top 100.

Plucking a T100 prospect from that program is also no small feat. If Markis pans out like we all hope, this is a significant inroad for recruiting (and a very difficult one to open at that).

I love this signing. And I'm really digging the entire class. Love having the southpaw and now having a 6'7" wing who may grow another two inches, already has some defensive chops? Wow. Combined with some of the youngsters we already have on the roster, this new group will just add a whole new dimension to Shocker BB. And I agree about the program he's coming from. Nice to have inroads to that school.

He's a legit wing guard! Big time height on the perimeter with 6-2/6-3 PGs Henderson and Taylor; 6-4 SG Shamet, 6-6/6-7 wing Brown and 6-7/6-8 wing McDuffie.

6-8/6-9 Hamilton and 6-10/6-11 Nurger also have legit range. Love the length of this team!
