I'll leave it to Ricky to explain the 3/8, because I don't recognize that one myself. But if you look back at the box score of the Louisville game, check the FG shooting by WSU's PGs (which of course includes the West Regional MVP). I believe what Ricky was saying as he tried -- vainly, I'm sure; some heads are impenetrable -- to remind KC that Orukpe didn't singlehandedly lose the game by missing two FTs, was that there were also other places, including some where WSU had performed well during the tournament, where they came up a little short against Louisville.

Needless to say, as is often the case, this of course has very little to do with the supposed subject of the thread.

In the Louisville game, the Shocker point guards shot 1/14 from the field (Armstead and VanVleet).

In the game, the Shockers fouled 3 point shooters on three occasions. The offended shooters scored 8 points from the foul line.

In my view, it is hardly reasonable to single out E.O. for the Louisville loss.

But that is just me.

Yes, I know his current coach says he has soft hands. Now if Coach Marshall says he has soft hands then I will buy in. Otherwise we need to wait and see him in action. What I know for sure at this point is he is from Kenya, he is tall and he is long. Looking forward to seeing what other nice surprises are in the package as its contents are made known.

Hopefully Bush, Rashard, Corey and and Zach all sign before Coach Marshall's radio show on November 18th and he will be able to give us the lowdown on these guys from his perspective. (Early signing runs from November 13th to 20th this year).
