Sounds like Messrs. Kelly and Glass just picked up a summer assignment: work on shooting the three. And it wouldn't hurt Wessel to find his missing stroke from deep, either. I know it's around here somewhere...

congrats to his signing but that should be the end of his discussion IMO...we should focus on our players to be honest, Mr. Glass and the other 7 unproven players we have and are coming and or are at Wichita State...and the potential season we can and will have...pairing this many new faces is less risky when Marshall has a core of experienced leaders in place...really excited to see what 'The Genera" FVV is going to pull out of his sleeves next season...the total offensive reigns is in the hands of Ron Baker...feels really good knowing we have those two individuals in command of our offense and Cotton leading the defensive end...getting goosebumps just thinking bout next season...

Transferring from New Mexico after one season. I think we dodged some bullets by "missing" out on some guys last year.
***********
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – University of New Mexico junior forward Jordan ******* has been granted a release from his scholarship by Lobo head coach Craig Neal. ******* appeared in 19 games for New Mexico last season while averaging 6.3 points and 2.3 rebounds per game. He will pursue other playing opportunities with his remaining eligibility.
“I have given Jordan his release from his scholarship so he can play closer to home on the east coast,” said head coach Craig Neal. “It’s unfortunate things didn’t work out for him here, but I wish him the best of luck in continuing his career at another program.”
******* joined the Lobos for the 2013-14 season after a pair of seasons at Harcum College in Pennsylvania.

Has anyone else thought that it was never that we "missed" at all with some of these guys?
Give HCGMversion3.3 some credit. He is a fantastic talent evaluater and player developer. He probably didn't have these guys as high up on his list as we did to begin with. It's entirely possible that he didn't "lose" them at all. He just knew this was the level they were at a long time before these other coaches did.
Maybe I'm wrong, but it's a theory! :)

HCGM: "Jordan, I'd like to introduce you to your new position that I was talking to you about."
Jordan: "Great!"
HCGM: "It's kind of like football - you'll be an end, guard and tackle"
Jordan: "Really?"
HCGM: "Yes, end of the bench, guard of the water bucket and tackle anyone who gets near it!"

I'd say creighton now, but they don't have the offense anymore either
