Wish it worked that way. Answer is we'd take either, or both if they accepted. They look very similar from the videos I've watched, good jump shots on both. ******* looked like he attacks the rim a little more, but seems to shy away from contact whereas Atwood tried to draw it. Think Atwood is a more willing passer as well. ******* is just slightly quicker but I don't think either is quite as explosive as Early was.

Do you have any video on Jordan *******? I had trouble finding some of him playing this year.

        Here's a full-game, he's #14 for Harcum. Some highlights. Another highlight video.

He played for DC Assault. My understanding is we have a connection. He appears to a much farther range then Atwood.

The shooting range sounds consistent with the quote earlier about him being a being version of Early -- that's one of the things that made Cle special: if you play off him to stop the drive, he can beat you with threes.

Interesting roster on the Harcum website, by the way -- mostly from PA and MD, but then a few outliers from such foreign lands as Argentina, Jamaica, Spain, and Wyoming.

              Dat hair tho.

We'd be going for the All-Hair Team with him, Ron and Evan on the roster.

First and foremost this kid can shoot and his range starts when he passes half court. As with any juco game it is a bit difficult to tell some things which was magnified by the fact that the opponent was in a tight 2-3 zone the whole game. It was hard to tell what kind of handle he has because of the zone but it does appear that his frame will hold a bit more weight than Cle. I have to remind myself that Cle did not buy in at first and I think Jordan is going to have some work to do with Marshall's system. The downside is that he does not have a high motor and is not a willing rebounder. However he clearly has the athletic ability to rebound and I am sure Marshall will address the motor and the defense. The shooting is there and if he buys in to Marshall's system he could be very special.

I would agree that the most promising thing about him is his range. Hard to teach that at 6'9". From what I've seen though, Atwood is more natural fit in Marshall's system in terms of his mental approach (a little bit of a junkyard dog), but both players have the physical tools and skills needed to succeed. ******* is probably going to be a better shooter, but Atwood is still good on that count.

What made Cle so lethal was his range. If you sagged off him - to protect inside - he could drain the three. The ability to be a stretch four was what made the offense open up for the entire court. (Ben Smith was the same way)

It's weird Jeff ******* mentioned his name, seemingly out of the blue, when it's wasn't even been a hot name on SN. Makes me think he knows something even our great recruiting gurus don't know.

That could almost be "ass"umed ;)

Just because his thread isn't buzzing here doesn't mean the coaches aren't putting on a full-court press to get him. We only know what people in the know are willing to reveal, or what interviewers are willing to ask. Most of our recruits tend to come out of nowhere. Only in the last couple of years have we had a good idea beforehand when a recruit was seriously considering us (ie. Early).

FVV, Baker, Cotton, Lufile, Armstead, Coleby, Carter, Green (IIRC), were all pretty much surprise commitments. trop can correct me if I'm wrong.

And that is the way our coaching staff likes it. ;-)

I've made the same observation about recruits out of the blue many times -- I think you're spot on, Royal.
