Now you're really on Fever's hit list. I've locked horns with him several times before, so he'll get a real chuckle out of that statement. Eventually, we stay on good terms. I do notice that you must have bought into Fev's style of making classy posts, even if the comment was a little old style and weak.

Actually, you go back a ways and you'd find I was a supporter of you voicing your opinion and sided with you a number of times. Those times have become much, much less frequent. Too bad as I always like seeing different, reasonable viewpoints. You'll also notice that I haven't posted anything about your self-imposed ban not being honored. I guess you've become a little edgy feeling everyone is against you.

Sorry for my assumptions in my other post. You being a long time poster, I guess I gave you a lot more credit than I should have. We go through this type of thing about every year and whether you read the recruiting forum or not, would have seen how these things work themselves out one way or another. If anyone really knew anything about someone leaving, it wouldn't be here, but in the regular WSU basketball forum. My bad that I figured your post was just a reflection of most of your other posts these days.

If I'm reading his tweet right after that right, it sounds like he hasn't narrowed down his decision yet. I've felt like we were a long shot for a while now though.

It's funny how things work out. 2 months ago, this was a great option, for both WSU and Mr. Atwood. He's really good and would help almost every program.

Fast forward 2 months and he's looking at 2 programs that haven't sniffed our success, and everyone currently on our "to do" list is an upgrade. A couple of them big time upgrades. Doesn't mean he won't go to Tallahassee and be an All American or that WSU will even fill the empty scholarship much less get a better player than Mr. Atwood...

But it is interesting how things work sometimes.

Did IlSU sign a buddy of Atwood's? If Atwood is now a big IlSU fan, that doesn't look encouraging for his signing with the Shox.

I've suspected for a while that there was a disconnect between how Marshall runs his program and the type of program Aatwood would prefer playing in.

I wouldn't necessarily consider this a factor. Heck, it could mean that he looks forward to playing his buddy four to six times in the next two years.

Not to sound arrogant (even though it will) that almost sounds to me like we would have been the ones to pull the offer in the first place. 2nd tier programs, in comparison.
