No video highlights or footage of the young man just stats pretty much. But looks to be a legit player. My guess is if he commits someone is leaving.

Oklahoma State , Auburn , Arkansas , & Murray State were all in to see Willie Atwood (6-8/F/2014) of Connors State last night.

He took an offical to Marshall in the Fall so he has 4 left. He's gone from a 175lb guard to a 217lb combo forward, scoring inside and out, rebounding and playing hard on both ends. 60% from the field, 80% from the line.

I think it is a foregone conclusion that at least one of our guys are not coming back. I think it is pretty clear on who that is but with all of our activity I have to wonder if we might have more than one player that is looking to leave. I didn't play D1 but the coach would call us in the office every year and tell us if they were going to renew our scholarship. If we going to bring in two I can only think that the coach's have concerns about one of our recruits qualifying or it is clear early on that one of our redshirts is not coming back. I know this is only speculation but I would love to hear your thoughts Trop.

Since some offers are going out, I think we will add one. I would be somewhat surprised at two. If you plan on adding one player, you recruit many. From what I'm seeing on Atwood, he would be a great addition. I think he will get serious consideration for juco player of the year honors. There is a full game replay available of Conners St. at Hutchinson last year playing against Motlow State available on the net. Atwood is #2 in black.

I found this part in one of the earlier links posted to this thread.

Gian Clavell, a 6-3 guard out of NW Kansas Tech, will take an unofficial visit to Colorado State this weekend. Clavell committed to Ole Miss in the late spring/early summer and then de-committed in the late summer.

IIRC this tech school is located in Goodland but I had no idea they had any teams.

For a second I thought KSU got a satellite branch up there. Didn't Goodland use to have a CC? Or was it just Colby?

After looking it up, they do have athletics. They play a lot of Colorado, Nebraska, and western KS teams.
