Agreed. I am very optimistic that Eric has that high of a ceiling, but even Eric has said he has work to do to get where CLE is at. He was pretty much told by the coaching staff tbat they envision him being the next CLE..

Luckily, we really have those 3 to battle it out for the 4 and backup 3 spots, as Tekele will not be losing his starting job.
I think Zach is more of a 2-3, and is even playing some point guard at Sunrise. That tells me that Zach is the next Toure Murry more than the next CLE...

So if want to get carried away in dreaming about the future, dream/fantasize about a team with a Cle, a Toure,FVV, Ron Baker, Shaq,Bush, etc...

$64 dollar question is who will be the next Tekele?

So does that leave Rashard as the next Carl Hall?

That kid would be wearing a Kentucky uniform, sad to say... thank God Eric has some work to - and that he gets to do it here.

That team actually has SENIOR FVV and Baker, which are two players we have yet to see.

          • I agree that Brown is more of a 2-3 and will be a jack of all trades like Toure. Hamilton looks like he could add 30lbs in the coming years and could be true power forward with step out ability. If he is able to put on some weight a combo of Gabe Blair with Cle's offensive ability.

            • For some reason Ron Baker is beginning to remind me of a Randy Whitman type, except Ron was much more overlooked than Wittman, but he's just that hard nose competitor who also has a great stroke. It will be interesting to see whether him or FVV will be better.

If Eric can replace Cle, well really be tough.

              • Next year you can just permanently mark in Van Vleet, Baker and Cotton as starters...the 4/5 spots are up for grabs...most likely Carter or Hamilton as 4 and Shaq or Bush as a 5

baker looks like he might be a better passer than whitman was- more all-around game (of course baker excelled, really excelled, in high-school football, baseball and basketball).

                      • More info on Hamilton:

Recent Wichita State signee Eric Hamilton transferred to Duluth High School for his senior season and had 13 points in a loss to MLK. Hamilton showed some of the natural ability that made him so attractive to the Shockers coaching staff. He showed off his athleticism on a chase down block where he pinned the ball against the backboard at the top of the square and was very active on the boards at both ends. - See more at: http://jucojunction.rivals.com/conte....9nlbZCJp.dpuf

                          • Funny thing about this video is watching #1 on Eric's team kinda just hanging out. He touches the ball on one play where he's about 5 ft from the 3 point line and passes it. Other than that you can tell by his body language that the only way he's gonna get the ball is by stealing it from the other team or getting a freak rebound.

                            • Coach Marshall, on Eric Hamilton on tonight's coach's show: "He's Cleanthony Early five years ago. He's a young man who is tremendously athletic, has a great motor, dunks it, puts his head right by the rim. He plays extremely hard. Now, right now, he doesn't have a real good feel for the game in terms of where he is suppose to be at a certain time. So, he is a late bloomer. But, man is he an athletic talent and a guy that we think is going to be dynamic in time."
